The challenge
Growing businesses often have information about invoices, expenses, and upcoming payments spread across spreadsheets and different tools.
The problem wasn't a lack of data. It was that finance teams had to piece together the story themselves.
The approach
I mapped the key financial workflows around tracking invoices, monitoring upcoming payments, and understanding short-term cash flow.
The focus was on making the most important information visible without turning the product into another complicated finance dashboard.
The product
Ledger brings invoices, expenses, upcoming payments, and cash-flow forecasts into one workspace.
The main dashboard gives teams a quick view of what has changed, what needs attention, and what their cash position could look like over the coming weeks.
What changed
The redesigned experience made financial information easier to scan and gave teams a clearer starting point for their weekly finance work.
The project reinforced an important product principle: a dashboard isn't useful because it contains more data. It's useful when it helps someone make a decision.
